The product in detail

Kärcher Neutral Floor Cleaner is intended for daily auto-scrubber care of compatible finished floors, polished stone and polished concrete. The 2025 Canadian catalogue describes a no-rinse, phosphate-free formula without added fragrance. It also lists ingredients intended to limit scale and contaminants in the machine.

Lifts everyday traffic soil. Removing the layer of grime can reveal the finish’s original appearance.

Surfaces and compatibility

For routine care of hard flooring whose covering and finish permit this cleaner. Identify neighbouring materials too: wood trim, natural stone and grout may require a different method.

Check formula compatibility with your machine, including foam requirements. Confirm how the 1:128 ratio is defined on the current label before mixing.

Preparation and use

Check the finish and machine compatibility. Dose the solution tank as directed and pick up the water with the squeegee.

  1. Vacuum or sweep grit and loose debris so the mop does not drag them across the floor.
  2. Read the label on the supplied reference. Use only the stated dilution; ready-to-use products and concentrates require different preparation.
  3. Test an inconspicuous area and allow it to dry before checking colour, sheen and texture.
  4. Work in small areas with a clean microfibre pad or approved equipment. Recover dirty water and rinse as instructed.
  5. Allow the floor to dry before reopening the area. If haze appears, check dosing and pad cleanliness.

Follow the supplied reference’s label and SDS, plus flooring and machine instructions. Do not mix products. The method guidance below complements manuals and does not set a dilution or contact time missing from them.

Care and storage

Launder microfibre pads according to their instructions and keep a clean spare. Store the product in its labelled, closed container under the label conditions. Dirty solution or a saturated pad can redistribute soil.

Limits and things to check

A maintenance cleaner does not replace a stripper, finish or disinfectant. pH and a “neutral” description alone do not establish compatibility with every material. Do not mix in other products.
